Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) Calls to Action and a commitment to advancing reconciliation are essential.

This is a camp position, and the schedule will either be 14/14 or very similar. Being able to pass an Alcohol / Drug and physical fitness testing will be a condition of employment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- A resource for the supervisors in the field
- Assist with Incidents and investigations and provide guidance when needed
- Follow up and monitor corrective actions to ensure they are being carried out and maintained
- Conduct site inspections and report all recognized unsafe acts and conditions and provide guidance to supervisors to mitigate them
- Coordinate with supervisor on daily job tasks
- Review safety documentation to ensure it is current, relevant, and present for the scope of work being conducted on site
- Work closely with Health and Safety Manager to roll out and maintain current safety programs
- Attend daily safety meetings and help workers with any safety concerns
- Conduct site specific safety orientations when required
- Act as a liaison between the field medics, supervisors and the Health and Safety Manager
Qualifications:
- Education level – NCSO
- Experience – Minimum 2 years’ experience working in mining and forestry.
Wage Rate: $35 to $40 pending on experience.
