OPG is looking for a dedicated and results driven leader to join our team in the role of Maintenance Integration Manager for our Madawaska and Ottawa River Stations (Traditional Algonquin Territory). This role is based in our Eastern Operations Region on the Ottawa River, near Renfrew, ON.
Reporting to the Production Manager – Madawaska/Ottawa, the Maintenance Integration Manager will provide leadership and manage assigned resources to execute site work programs in a cost-effective manner to support production, quality, environmental, stakeholder and worker and public health and safety objectives

Maintain and enhance local relationships with First Nations, governments & regulatory agencies, and the public.
Develop and maintain a mutually respectful work environment, where everyone feels included and motivated to contribute.
Through assigned resources in a multi-unionized environment, provide protection & control, clerical, maintenance planning, and other technical and business services to hydroelectric stations on the Madawaska and Ottawa Rivers.
Working collegially with other Madawaska/Ottawa managers, recommend organizational designs to improve the effectiveness of the Maintenance Integration Team.
Develop staff with regards to succession planning.
Provide variance explanations and assessments to support appropriate decision-making.
Achieve year-end projection requirements for the budget, performance achievement plans and issues of significance; provide input to the Regional Business Plan
Oversee project management and control for planned work programs.
Provide assessment and advice on the maintainability and operational performance of systems and Quality and quantity of maintenance work performed by maintenance.
To support, influence and encourage initiatives to improve the effectiveness of maintenance execution equipment to Engineering & Planning.
Execute work within the expectations of Public Safety Policy and Procedures. Help plan and deliver the local public safety and education plan.
4 year university degree, Engineering, Science or Business
8+ years of related project / maintenance program management experience in turn around projects, petroleum, power plant, utilities, petrochemical, heavy industrial programs and projects.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a unionized environment.
Exhibit strong leadership qualities and possess well-developed analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to effectively interface, build and sustain relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously, quickly understand business processes and their risk implications, analyze complex situations to reach appropriate conclusions.
A results-oriented focus is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and effectively deliver on projects.
High level of self-motivation, integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
Ability to present information clearly and effectively.
