Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential for supporting various operational tasks across our projects and ensuring smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment
- Support skilled trades by carrying tools and supplies as needed
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and materials for specific tasks
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with basic construction or maintenance tasks under supervision
- Operate manual tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation is mandatory
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or manual labour is advantageous but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
