Nu Edge Construction Ltd. is currently hiring a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. This role would be joining Nu Edge Construction Ltd.’s workforce as a valuable colleague!
The position will be based out of Camrose Location and will require the ability to work in a full service schop with the potential to run a field service truck.
Off Road Equipment service experience is mandatory.
Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Full Time
- Shift: Monday – Friday. Weekends as required. Overtime as needed.
- Location: Camrose, AB
- Compensation: Hourly
What you do:
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems
- Repair, adjust, test, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment
- Familiarity with tracked and wheeled off-road equipment (dozers, scrapers, excavators, packers, graders, and rock trucks)
- Estimate the resources and materials to efficiently maintain fleet
- Complete preventative maintenance checks and diagnostic work on equipment
- Experience with highway truck and trailer units
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Local to Edmonton or surrounding area
