We are currently seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join our Service Department team at Chilliwack Volkswagen in Chilliwack, BC. Qualified individuals are invited to apply for this position. The Service Advisor will be reporting directly to the Service Manager.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:
- Serving clients efficiently
- Identifying additional service work required for vehicles
- Explain the nature of the work performed and all the repair costs to the customer
- Completing repair orders, ensuring all information is correctly input into the DMS system
- Handle phone inquiries regarding work-in progress, appointments, and return messages promptly
- Schedule and dispatch of repairs
- Sell required maintenance and repairs
- Maintaining necessary product knowledge
- As the successful candidate you will have:
- Good interpersonal skills, have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience as a Service Advisor
- Possess strong organizational, follow-up and paper-flow handling skills.
- A positive attitude
- Customer relationship skills
- A valid class 5 driver's license (ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions)
- High School diploma
- Computer and typing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Past experience in the automotive or retail industry recommended.
