A Data Scientist is a professional who collects large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills. They are responsible for using data to develop solutions tailored to meet the organization's unique needs. A data scientist also interprets the raw data and extracts valuable meaning out of it. They then use this information to find patterns and develop solutions that an organization needs to grow and compete.
Position Overview:
As a Data Scientist Developer, you will get to:
● Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver project milestones and outcomes.
● Collaborate with other members of our team to discuss scope and data collection, processing, and validation.
● Assist with image collection, processing, masks, and augmentation.
● Build and contribute to our AI-based computer vision products, research and production runs.
● Data mine and/or extract usable data from valuable data sources.
● Use machine learning tools to select features, as well as create and optimize classifiers.
● Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
● Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms.
● Stay informed, research and study the fast-paced industry and be knowledgeable about computer vision models, architecture, training and deployment.
● Run models without overfitting, and stack ensemble pipeline to effectively evaluate options.
● Participate in feature engineering build-up.
● Actively seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Who you are:
Some combination of the following skills, abilities, experience, and attributes will help you thrive in this role. You:
● Have at least 3 years of experience in the above duties
● Have experience with Python, Ubuntu Linux OS, GitHub, Pytorch, Keras, image manipulation using Pillow, CV2.
● Have experience using SharePoint.
● Have completed a degree or program in a related field.
● Live in the data collection-AI model training universe.
● Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
● Have a knowledge of the life cycle of a dataset, both local and on the cloud-based tools.
● Can process, clean, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
● Can analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
● Are a keen contributor, and incredible team player placing the collective success and company objectives first.
● Must know ‘overfitting’, ‘early stop’, Roboflow Sam, and ‘Intersection over Union’.
● Have built datasets fast and efficiently, evaluating deficiencies as well as avenues to solve them.
● Can imbalance a model’s class warnings, and process synthetic sub-class generation lead.
● Interpret the raw data and extract valuable meaning from it.
● Have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, on-site and remote.

Remuneration:
Salary range $105,000 to $125,000 commensurate with direct experience and skills, plus performance-based bonuses.
