Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing household or facility upkeep, and creating a welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute significantly to the overall satisfaction and well-being of those we serve.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain floors through specialized care techniques like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Prepare and cook simple meals or snacks as needed to support household or client needs.
- Manage sanitation protocols by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing to ensure uninterrupted service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning.
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
