We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee a produce repacking and packaging team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you have leadership experience, enjoy problem-solving, and have a background working with fresh produce, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: Southeast Calgary, AB
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent
Pay: Starting at $23/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (weekends as required)
What You'll Do
- Lead and support production associates
- Ensure products meet quality and customer specifications
- Perform quality inspections and communicate concerns
- Maintain food safety, packaging, and labelling standards
- Conduct inventory and cycle counts
- Manage daily labour requirements
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and customer service teams
- Identify issues and implement solutions proactively
What We're Looking For
- Supervisory or team lead experience
- Previous fresh produce experience (required)
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, or food safety programs is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
- CSA-approved safety boots required
- Forklift or warehouse experience is an asset
