Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms using established procedures and safety standards
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and dusting furniture to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Garbage removal, hallway cleaning, deep cleaning of rooms.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow policies, standards and procedures as per brand requirements.
- Complete required in-house training and brand training
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning carpets or upholstery
- Follow proper janitorial protocols to uphold hygiene standards in all assigned areas
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for everyone
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/managers
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience highly preferred for understanding guest expectations
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
