Company Description
LinkedKey is an enrichment and enhancement after-school program in the GTA. Currently, we have four locations: our headquarters in Mississauga, as well as locations in North York, Markham and Montreal. We provide training programs in Communication, STEM, and Standard Test & College Prep to prepare students to impact and lead tomorrow's world.
In the Communication category, courses include Debate, Model United Nations, Public Speaking, Mock Trial, DECA, English Literature, and Essay Writing.
Our STEM category offers courses such as Math Contests for grades 4-12, Math Curriculum for grades 9-12, Science for grades 9-10, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Programming.
In the Standard Test & College Prep category, courses include SSAT, SAT, IB Courses, and AP Courses.
We encourage students to compete in various competitions and contests in Canada, US and around the globe.
Position: Science, Chemistry, and Biology teachers
Location: LinkedKey Mississauga Campus, North York Campus or Markham Campus
What You’ll Do
- Create an engaging and positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas
- Encourage critical thinking and scientific problem-solving through inquiry-based experiments
- Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and student needs
- Build strong relationships with students and provide individualized academic support when needed
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback that motivates growth
- Contribute to a collaborative and energetic teaching team committed to student success
What We’re Looking For
- A strong passion for science, chemistry, and biology education
- The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, relatable, and encouraging way
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A flexible, positive, and student-focused mindset
- Experience teaching high school science is an asset
- Ontario teaching qualifications in two of either science, chemistry, and biology preferred
- Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour
