Isabelle Sellon School requires a temporary full time Educational Assistant. The start date is August 25, 2026 and ends June 29, 2027.
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, Inclusion Support Teacher, and Administrative team; the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for student(s) to help achieve the goals identified in the student's behavior support plan and/or WISE plan and the goals identified within Individual Student Plan(s).
Required qualifications include the following:

Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings
-
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility
-
Experience in working collaboratively with an Inclusion Support Team
-
Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex behaviors
-
Experience and training in working with students with different learning needs
-
Educational Assistant certification would be an asset
-
NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset
-
Understanding of Leader in Me (7 Habits) would be an asset
