Aurora Cannabis is looking for a Change Manager to join our Information Services team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be personable, high energy and detail oriented with exceptional communications skills.
The Change Manager will be responsible for assigned information services initiatives to lead, develop and execute change management strategies using proven methods, tools and techniques to increase end user adoption of systems. This position reports to the Manager, Change Management. Periodic travel will be required.
Stakeholder Engagement & Management
Lead, plan and/or execute on the end-to-end delivery of Change Management activities throughout the program and/or project lifecycle for assigned initiatives in alignment with business objectives and the change management strategy
Engage appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the business
Provide and support on-going communication to key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of significant changes which impact change delivery against the overall project
Provide leadership and support to stakeholders to drive successful adoption of change
Collaborate with the project manager to identify and ensure required resources are assigned to the project with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
Identify change impacts and analyze risks and provide recommendations to project leadership and stakeholders to achieve business results
Respond to inquiries and escalate change related concerns from stakeholders and partners at various levels in the organization
Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems while assessing options and recommendations for prompt resolution
Communication and Training
Assess potential change impacts to processes and systems to achieve business objectives and communicate these effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders
Develop and support communications for internal change management activities
Develop training presentations, documentation and materials for various stakeholder groups
Use knowledge, experience of products, systems and processes and adult learning principles to document training curriculum and develop trainee materials including; work instructions, end user guides, handouts, job aids, etc.
Work with trainers and make recommendations for improvements to address trainee performance gaps and implement solutions to address gaps
Establish and maintain standards, best practices for change management communications, training and documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Teaching, or a related discipline
At least 5 years related change management experience
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees
Ability to present information, provide support to training sessions and processes.
Ability to research answers to questions, problems and situations.
Knowledge of training/documentation tools and techniques and Learning Management Systems (Articulate, Captivate, or other)
Adept at documentation of business requirements and technical solutions
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype for Business
Proactive and self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail, accuracy and timelines
Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize and multitask
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Cannabis, pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry knowledge
Experience with technological change management with enterprise systems
Experience with writing internal communications materials for various audiences
Experience with providing training and technical documentation
Experience with business systems analysis
Change management certification such as PROSCI or other
