THE OPPORTUNITY

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design and develop new menu items including hearty meals, high-protein bowls, salads, wraps, and power meals
- Suggest new dishes based on food trends, seasons, and customer preferences
- Test, refine, and help price new dishes before launch
- Manage daily kitchen operations including prep, cooking, and plating
- Interact with customers in a warm, professional, and friendly manner
- Collect customer feedback and use it to improve the menu
- Monitor ingredient stock and help with smart, cost-effective ordering
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Actively share ideas that help grow our sales and improve the customer experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2 or more years of cooking experience in a restaurant, ghost kitchen, or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of homestyle comfort meals, North American cuisine, and fast-casual dishes
- Comfortable cooking full meals from scratch — think shepherd's pie, chicken dinners, rice dishes, pasta, stews, and more
- A genuine interest in menu creation and trying new things — not just following recipes
- Friendly, approachable personality with comfort talking to customers
- Results-driven attitude — motivated by growth, not just getting through the day
- Ability to work independently and manage the kitchen without constant supervision
- Basic understanding of food costing and portion control is an asset
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain before your start date)
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
