Grey Lion is a commercial and industrial concrete subcontractor with active crews across Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, and Stony Plain. We self-perform our work — no day labour, no brokered crews. We're adding an experienced cribber or journeyman carpenter to our concrete forming team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Layout, assemble, and strip complex concrete formwork systems (walls, columns, elevated slabs, grade beams)
- Build and set custom crib forming for footings and pits to engineered drawings
- Read and interpret structural drawings and form plans independently
- Place and tie rebar to spec; assist with concrete pours and finishing as required
- Work lead or independently on tasks with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite — Safety Tickets required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3–5 years concrete formwork experience, with a focus on crib forming or carpentry
- Journeyman Carpenter (or equivalent demonstrated experience) preferred
- Confident reading structural and architectural drawings
- Valid CSTS-09 and First Aid (or willingness to obtain — we'll help)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
- Based in Edmonton / Sherwood Park or able to commute
