Job Summary:
Syncro Security is seeking reliable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Level l Event Security Guards to support FIFA event operations. Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for attendees, staff, players, and venue personnel while ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain security presence at assigned event locations
- Control access points and verify credentials, tickets, and authorized entry
- Conduct routine patrols of designated areas
- Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly flow of guests
- Observe and report promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances and escalate as required
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with directions and general inquiries
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents to supervisors
- Follow all site procedures, emergency protocols, and event policies
- Prepare accurate incident and activity reports when required
- Work closely with supervisors, law enforcement, emergency services, and event staff as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Should be able to commute to Toronto Downtown
- WHIMS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in fast-paced and high-volume environments
- Strong observation and conflict-resolution skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event schedules
- Previous event security experience is an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Crowd management experience
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
