We are seeking an experienced and professional Corporate Controller for our client in Peterborough, ON.

On the job, the Corporate Controller will oversee all organizational finances and implement financial processes and policies as well as internal controls and systems, enabling the company to optimize its operational decision making through timely and accurate financial information to other departments as well as institutional capital partners.

As the Corporate Controller is a vital component in helping the company run smoothly, the Controller must also be an expert in providing metrics and analytical thinking.

Job Duties Overview:

Other duties as required

Corporate Controller Requirements:
7+ years experience in a financial leadership role
Fully designated CPA
Experience and knowledge of percentage of completion accounting
Data driven, ability to analyze and review numbers & trends to allow decision making.
Working knowledge of service business and related systems (ERP’s, database and accounting/reporting systems) and of general office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage people and relationships at all levels of the organization and with staff at multiple locations
Detailed focus and accurate
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to all levels of the organization
Regular travel to the mid-West United States and other locations required
Some lifting of light materials or equipment required
