Big O Tires in Port Kells has an immediate opening for a responsible, dedicated individual to join our team as a Experienced Tire Technician.
We are looking for general service technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for a Experienced Tire Technician to help us create an environment of success!
Responsibilities:
As a Big O Tires general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including:
- Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires.
- Maintaining and cleaning shop areas.
- Other shop maintenance items as needed.
- Provide excellence in customer service through the efficient installation and repair of tires for passenger vehicles such as cars and light trucks.
- Work together with all members of the team to ensure we are providing the BEST tire servicing.
- Retrieve customers' vehicles and secure on hoist/jacks, conduct necessary tire repairs, dismounts and mounts of all tires and tire related services.
- Ensure the facility and equipment is kept in a safe, neat and clean manner at all times both inside and outside.
Requirements:
- Previous Tire Installation and Service Experience is required.
- Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of routine Tire repairs and servicing.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent client care.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Based on Experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
