Position: Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic (Winnipeg Shop)

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty civil construction equipment at the Winnipeg Shop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
- Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems on excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, hy-way tractors, trailers, and vehicles
- Execute scheduled maintenance and recommend replacement parts or repair solutions
- Adhere to all company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean work area
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
- Minimum 3 years experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $27 to $46 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience
Work: Regular 10-hour days, 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday at Winnipeg Shop
License: Driver’s License is required (no public transportation)
