Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and restaurant policies during food preparation and service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
