Operations Manager
Mintink Sports Cards Inc. is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team at our Vaughan HQ.
Mintink is one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies in the sports cards, collectibles, grading, and live commerce space. We are building a dynamic, customer-focused business that combines retail, eCommerce, live selling, grading services, and community-driven experiences. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a strong operational leader who can help bring structure, accountability, and efficiency to our growing organization.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vaughan, Ontario. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Retail and will oversee and support the daily operations of key departments, including Listing, Grading, Live Streaming, Shipping, and Fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can work cross-functionally, support department managers, improve workflows, and help develop scalable systems as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily operations across key departments, including Listing, Grading, Live Streaming, Shipping, and Fulfillment.
- Work closely with department managers to improve communication, accountability, and execution.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Support workflow planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day problem solving.
- Monitor performance, productivity, and operational metrics to ensure business objectives are being met.
- Help build scalable systems, processes, and standards to support future company growth.
- Partner with retail, eCommerce, and leadership teams to ensure strong cross-functional alignment.
- Coach, support, and develop junior managers and associates.
- Assist with budgeting, labour planning, and operational decision-making where required.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations, fulfillment, retail operations, logistics, eCommerce, warehouse operations, or team leadership.
- Strong organizational, planning, and process improvement skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, support managers, and drive accountability.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with different departments and stakeholders.
- Understanding of basic financial management, budgeting, labour planning, or operational reporting is an asset.
- Experience with project management tools, workflow systems, Shopify, or inventory systems is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
- Passion for sports cards, collectibles, live selling, or the hobby industry is a bonus, but not required.
