Westway Animal Clinic is a family-owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Etobicoke, ON. We are currently hiring for two separate roles: a Client Service Representative and a Veterinary Assistant. These positions are ideal for team members who are passionate about pets, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and want to contribute to progressive, personalized care for our clients and patients.

Client Service Representative
About the Role
Are you someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying organized, and being part of a supportive, fast-paced team? As a CSR, you are the face and voice of our practice and play a key role in creating a calm, welcoming experience for both clients and their pets.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and guide them through check-in and check-out
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily clinic flow
- Communicate clearly and compassionately in person, by phone, email, and text
- Process payments and support invoicing and administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Coordinate communication between clients and the veterinary team
- Keep the front desk and client areas organized, clean, and welcoming
- Support the team with shared clinic responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional presence
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Genuine empathy for pets and their people
- A team-first mindset and willingness to help where needed
- Previous customer service experience (veterinary experience is an asset)
Veterinary Assistant
About the Role
Are you passionate about animals and hands-on patient care? This role is an opportunity to support our medical team, assist in procedures, and play a direct role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
What You’ll Do
- Support our veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures
- Gently and safely handle and restrain patients
- Run in-house lab work (e.g., bloodwork, urinalysis)
- Administer medications as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
- Educate pet owners on home care, medications, and preventative care
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment
- Compassion and empathy for both patients and clients
