Position Summary
The Support Services department is currently seeking a Temporary Full-Time Clerk Typist to join their team.
Required: June 29, 2026
Ending on or before: September 28, 2026
Essential Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Keyboarding skills and minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. with high degree of accuracy - testing required
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) - testing required
- Minimum one (1) year recent office experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to receive and transfer information in a courteous and polite manner
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all levels of staff, patients, physicians and the public
- Demonstrated high level of communication, organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job as per the current Physical Demands Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in UKG, Plexxus e-portal, Paradigm, Chubb Security program, and Precise ParkLinc access system program
Hours of Work
Must be available to work day shifts, Monday through Friday. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
