The Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Dispatch Manager on a Permanent Full-time basis. Reporting to the CEO, the Dispatch Manager will be primarily responsible for achieving established service delivery and overall company objectives in safety, quality, cost, and productivity. They will be responsible for planning and directing daily and weekly operations to ensure services scheduled for completion are executed on time. The Dispatch Manager is a key point of contact for the Field Supervisor and Field Technicians as they fulfill the Company’s customer value commitment to “Be the Best.”
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and scheduling activities for Field Supervisors, Field Technician Leads, Field Technicians and Sub- Contractors as they perform general landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow clearing duties throughout the year, servicing various residential and commercial properties.
- Managing workflow by monitoring personnel and resources and developing reporting processes & procedures.
- Balances workload in assigning work to team members daily to support Company service delivery requirements and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Coordinate and manage the most efficient routes for the Company to remain cost-effective, generating routes and timelines to minimize how many Field Technicians are dispatched.
- Monitor the weather and driving conditions to avoid potential issues regarding driver safety and timeliness of services.
- Keep an organized listing of service requirements, ensuring reliable service for our customers.
- Maintain records, monitor Field Technicians' daily activities, and monitor their working hours and equipment/vehicle usage.
- Ensure team members have the proper training, skills, and tools to provide high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Identify improvement opportunities for quality, productivity, and safety and either lead or recommend action plans.
- Administer company policies for the department and ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. This includes administering the PPS Progressive Discipline Policy and supporting with terminations when required.
- Provide daily coaching and performance management to Field Supervisors and Field Technicians to maximize productivity, engagement, and overall team contributions.
- Manages customer complaints as required. Will determine issues with the customer and relay information to the service delivery team in real time so problems can be resolved promptly.

Other Requirements
You possess the following experience, and skills:
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in Dispatch Management or a related field is required.
- Minimum 2 Years of progressive and diverse experience in residential and commercial property maintenance and snow clearing.
- 3+ years of previous experience leading a small team.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel). As well as competent with utilizing mobile apps that will be used for documenting service delivery.
- A Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required with a clean driver's Abstract.
