Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 5-Axis CNC Operator with a background in the Tool and Mold industry. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision components, ensuring that all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up 5-axis CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed components, ensuring adherence to tolerance and quality standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and programming to set up machines for high precision operations.
- Monitor machine performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine issues or material defects, making adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating 5-axis CNC machines, preferably within the Tool and Mold industry.
- Education: Completion of a CNC Machining Program, Engineering Technology Diploma, or equivalent training is preferred.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a high-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of PowerMill software is an asset.
