Thomas Fresh’s Sales Representatives are motivated by their ability to achieve sales targets while meeting and exceeding customer requirements, in a dynamic retail and food service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect accounts, grow existing customer product penetration and increase revenue/margin across a wide range of categories in retail/food service markets in fresh produce in a dynamic and competitive marketplace
- Proactively sell seasonally relevant produce across a diverse customer base in large and independent retailers
- Monitor & expand service levels, contract proposals and product offerings to meet monthly and yearly targets
- Proactively generate new customer fresh produce opportunities by identifying underserviced opportunities in retail and food service
- Review costing & generate quotes ensuring accuracy and competitive market pricing
- Negotiate optimal pricing with customers using a performance-based approach
- Develop product programs focused on customer’s seasonal and yearly needs.
- Forecast ongoing customer requirements, communicate the needs of our customers and review with Leadership and other Team members so as to deliver market leading service performance
- Travel to various client and office locations ( up to 30% travel) in local market
