Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
Reporting to the Director of Sales, WAFES, Western Canada, this full-time permanent position is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including generating and qualifying leads, determining client needs, presenting a solution, demonstrating a high level of service, closing the sale, and growing customer relationships. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for supporting sales strategies and initiatives to gain market share and drive new business within the given region.
The Sales Associate performs the following duties:

Establish and maintain company client relations through consistent communication.

Responsible for following market conditions and recognizing market trends.

Generate, qualify, and continuously follow up on sales leads.

Develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on advice, customer feedback and the market environment.

Identify and engage opportunities to grow the business, offer value-added solutions and increase product adoption.

Hunt and report on long lead sales opportunities.
-
Maintain a high level of customer service and product and service knowledge.

Sell all equipment and services under the WAFES portfolio.

Work with Operations, Estimating and Proposals teams to develop solutions for clients and prepare accurate and professional quotes.

Coordinate closely with Indigenous Relations team, to further strategic initiatives within Indigenous communities and support the interests of Indigenous peoples.

Keep abreast of competition and report on known activities.

Participate in corporate marketing activities such as conferences, trade shows, community events and open house events, as required.

Deliver presentations promoting products and services and follow up with prospective clients.

Build awareness of the company’s offerings to respective clients.

Represent the company in an ethical and professional manner.

Process necessary paperwork to initiate contracts.

Produce reports to management on a weekly basis of prospect leads and current activity.

Work within the Key Sales Performance indicator system and participate in on-going performance reviews.

Achieve quarterly sales quotas and the key performance objectives of employment.

Update and log customer information and interactions in company CRM system.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment with a flexible work schedule, potentially requiring work on evenings and weekends.

Trained, as necessary, in required safety protocols.
-
Regular travel is required to various site locations.
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
-
3+ years in sales and/or business development with a proven successful track record;
-
Previous sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in the general Oil & Gas services sector and specifically in oilfields rentals or workforce accommodations is an asset;

Proficient in MS Office programs; and
-
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be flexible to travel.
