Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment, must have had experience in a Breakfast restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Certification in food handling or culinary training is a plus
