About the Role
We are looking for a Menu Coordinator to help manage and continuously improve Fed’s menu and recipes.
This role will be responsible for reviewing our existing meals, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing new meals, and working closely with our dietitian's, kitchen, and Customer Experience teams to ensure our food is nutritious, delicious, and meets our customers' needs.
Schedule: 2 days per week. 1 day at our facility in Vancouver, BC (Tuesday OR Saturday) + 1 remote day per week
Key Responsibilities
- Review Fed’s menus weekly to ensure meals meet our standards for nutrition, taste, quality, variety, and customer appeal.
- Identify meals that need improvement and make updates to recipes, ingredients, portions, or nutritional composition.
- Develop and test new meals from concept through to launch.
- Work with dietitians to develop meals for new dietary streams and specialized programs.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to test recipes, troubleshoot issues, and improve meals for large-scale production.
- Work with the Customer Experience team to understand customer feedback and identify meals that need to be improved, reformulated, or replaced.
- Use customer feedback and internal insights to continuously improve Fed’s menu.
- Enter and maintain new meal information in Fed’s systems, including recipes, ingredients, nutritional information, and other meal details.
- Ensure all meal information and recipes are accurate and up to date across our systems.
- Help maintain variety across the menu, including proteins, cuisines, ingredients, and flavours.
- Support menu launches and other menu-related projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Dietitian or nutrition background.
- Strong understanding and interest in food and nutrition.
- Passion for creating meals that are both healthy and delicious.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly when entering and managing detailed meal information.
- Comfortable using technology, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Comfortable with data entry and working with detailed information.
- Creative and curious approach to meal development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take feedback and turn it into practical improvements.
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a part-time role.
- Strong palate and ability to evaluate food based on taste, texture, appearance, and overall eating experience.
Nice to Have
- Culinary experience is an asset.
- Experience developing recipes or menus
- Experience with specialized dietary requirements or ready-to-eat meals.
- Experience with recipe management, nutrition, or food production software.

Success in this role means Fed’s menu is continuously getting better. Existing meals are improved based on customer and kitchen feedback, new meals are creative and delicious, meal information is accurate and up to date, and our menus continue to provide the variety and nutrition our customers expect from Fed.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
