We're hiring a Kitchen Designer to join our design team as we keep growing. This is a full-time role for someone who blends real design talent with technical precision - the kind of designer who can meet with a client, understand their vision, and turn it into custom kitchen layouts, cabinetry drawings, and material selections that actually get built clean.

What You'll Do
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, then guide them through the full design process
- Design custom kitchen layouts, cabinetry modifications, and custom millwork
- Develop detailed drawings and cabinet elevations
- Conduct site measurements for accurate planning and execution
- Calculate material requirements and source cost estimates
- Select and propose material choices with expert, client-tailored recommendations
- Help homeowners choose siding materials for exterior projects
- Coordinate with project managers, sub-trades, and partners like architects and engineers
- Prepare and issue client invoices with proper documentation and follow-up
- Juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines without losing the details
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of interior design experience with a strong design portfolio
- Expertise in kitchen and cabinetry standards, including technical drawing for detailed cabinet elevations
- Meticulous attention to detail and logical, systematic problem-solving
- Strong time management and organization across multiple simultaneous projects
- Comfortable with Google Drive and SketchUp
- Excellent, professional communicator with a customer-focused mindset
- Confidence to influence and lead without direct authority
- Own a car (frequent travel to showrooms and client homes) and a smartphone with data
- Bilingual (EN/FR) - an asset, not a requirement
Nice to Have
- Bathroom design experience - a plus as we launch our bathroom division next year
- Exterior/siding design experience
- Familiarity with Hover (3D measurement and exterior modeling)
- Familiarity with Buildertrend

Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Carp, ON
