WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our Tillicum Liquor Store, located at the Tillicum Mall (3170 Tillicum Rd Victoria, BC V9A 7C5). This is a full-time role offering 32 - 40 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Available to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused
- Confident and a reliable leader who can support the team
- Can make decisions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take initiative to support daily store operations, including merchandising, stocking, and safety
- Able to stand for long periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Currently certified in Serving It Right
- WSET level 1 certified (required in advance of starting)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead shifts and supports daily operations
- Coach and supports team members to help them succeed in their roles
- Respond calmly to emergencies and helps maintain a safe environment
- Address performance and safety concerns while communicating clearly with the team
- Confidently assist customers
- Follow all regulations regarding selling age-restricted products
- Stock and merchandise shelves accurately
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe site
- Ensure products are well displayed and meet quality standards
- Safely and effectively operate required equipment
- Follow all safety procedures
