Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Clean and maintain kitchen stations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role at a high volume restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
