Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Eavestrough Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining eavestrough systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related tasks, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights. Duties
- Measure and cut eavestroughs accurately using hand tools and schematics
- Install eavestrough systems according to blueprints and project specifications
- Seal joints and seams with caulking to ensure watertight integrity
- Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints for proper installation procedures
- Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, levels, and saws to secure components
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and restoration of existing gutter systems
- Assist with related exterior construction tasks including flashing, siding, or roofing as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of installation at heights or on ladders
- Maintain a clean work area and organize tools for efficient workflow
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is preferred
- Hands-on experience with caulking, welding, plumbing, or restoration projects is a plus
- Knowledge of flooring installation or tile laying can be beneficial but is not required
- Experience working with hand tools and construction equipment is essential
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Demonstrated ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments
