Sales Account Executive

Nova Biomedical is looking for a Sales Account Executive to be based in the East of Toronto area. Nova Biomedical is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of state-of-the-art, whole blood, point-of-care and critical care analyzers, and is one of the fastest growing in vitro diagnostic companies in the world. For over 40 years, Nova continues to grow as a privately held company.

As a Sales Account Executive, you will sell Nova’s full range of blood based diagnostic analyzers and POC meters into integrated health networks. To be successful, you will lead complex sales processes that include committee sales and wide array of call-points.

Bachelor’s degree and science aptitude
Must have at least 4 years of sales experience with documented success selling clinical diagnostic capital equipment to hospitals and laboratories
Experience in vertical sales environment, encompassing multiple call points within an institution and/or IHN is necessary
Must have account management experience, diagnostic capital equipment sales experience, experience closing sales and managing longer sales cycles, and be accustomed to price sensitive capital sales (complicated contracts) all with demonstrated success (hospital sales experience preferred).
Understanding of hospital Lab Information Systems, Hospital Information Systems and Middleware are a plus
Must speak French!
Ability to travel approx. 3 nights per week as needed
