Sheepwash Contracting & Design Inc. is looking for General Labourers and Skilled Labourers to join our growing team.
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and who understand that a great job starts with a great attitude. Whether you’re newer to construction and looking to build your skills, or you already have solid hands-on experience, we want to hear from you.
You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and be exposed to a wide variety of construction, renovation and maintenance projects. No two days are necessarily the same, and there is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and take on more responsibility as you grow with the company.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Depending on your experience and skill level, your day-to-day work may include:
- Loading, unloading and organizing materials, tools and equipment
- Assisting tradespeople and lead hands with construction and renovation projects
- General demolition and site preparation
- Digging, lifting, carrying and moving materials
- Operating hand tools and basic power tools
- Assisting with framing, drywall, painting, concrete, tile and other construction tasks
- Helping with material installation and job-site preparation
- Keeping job sites clean, organized and safe
- Completing site clean-up and disposal of construction materials
- Following direction from lead hands and supervisors
- Working as part of a team to keep projects moving efficiently
- Learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities as your experience grows
FOR OUR SKILLED LABOURERS
If you already have experience in construction, we want to know what you can do.
We value people who can confidently pick up a tool and get to work. Experience in areas such as carpentry, drywall, taping/mudding, painting, concrete, tile, demolition, framing or general renovation is an asset.
The more you can do, the more opportunities there are to take on responsibility and advance within the company.

EXPERIENCE
General Labourer: Previous construction experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Skilled Labourer: Previous hands-on construction experience is required, with experience across multiple areas of construction considered an asset.
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
