Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the residential construction industry. The Carpenter Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters, assisting in various construction projects and learning the skills necessary to become a trades person.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and learning in all facets of residential construction.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints for project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Must own their own vehicle
- Must have a minimum of 2 yrs experience
- Must own basic tool (tape measure, hammer, square)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proficient use of the English language
