Overview
Going Nuts is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep/Cook to join our team. You will be working at our commercial kitchen preparing and cooking granola and other products as well as packaging as required. Commercial kitchen experience is preferred. This is a full time position which incudes weekends. Hours are 8 to 4. To be considered for the position tell us what makes you a good candidate for the job?
Duties
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen area.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely product preparation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, commercial kitchens is desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
