We’re excited to add a forward-thinking agile controller to help create the finance department of the future
WHO YOU ARE
You are technically proficient and creative.
You want to transform how organizations evaluate financial performance and make decisions about resource allocation.
You see that the annual budget and forecasting process isn’t delivering the insight and responsiveness that businesses need. You can review historical transactions and catch errors in your sleep; now you want to build processes and systems that push a company to do more. You want to eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and automate as many finance functions as possible so your team can focus on higher-value work. You find leading indicators and actionable insights so you can sense and respond instead of trying to predict and control.
You’re interested in beyond budgeting, co-budgeting, and you’re looking for an environment where you can use your accounting expertise to help a business achieve sustainable long-term growth while focusing on purpose.
You believe in autonomy, trust, and transparency. You aren’t afraid to push to implement decentralized spending and control. You read this article and think “I want to create that”.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
We will consider candidates who have:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (e.g., BComm, BBA, BAcc); and
Three years of experience working as a controller or equivalent role.
