Position Overview:
Cronos Group is seeking a Harvest Team Member who will work within the Harvest Department and report to the Harvest Manager. As the Harvest Team Member, you will be responsible for the final processing of live plants and flower product, take down procedures and final cleaning of the rooms. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic and able to work as part of a team and at a fast pace.

This position is based out of Stayner, Ontario

Harvest Responsibilities:
Removing leaves from live plants leading up to and during harvests
Cut down the plants and record the weight of product in bins
Remove all by product resulting from harvest. Including the removal of coco coir from bags to allow for the destruction of root masses, leaves and stems
Clean tables and floors

Steam Responsibilities:
Vacuum rooms, floors and tables
ISO bins, clean harvest tables and totes and empty the rooms of all tables
Assemble scaffolds, platforms and ladders
Operate airlines, steam cleaner and foggers to sanitize rooms

Working Conditions:
Hours will fluctuate according to the ongoing needs of the business, working weekends and holidays required and overtime as needed
Lifting up to 50 lbs on regular basis
Crouching, lifting, bending, pushing, walking, standing required consistently
Repetitive operations requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity
Hot and humid working conditions like a greenhouse environment
Climbing ladders and standing on scaffolds / platforms

Qualifications:
Must be able to provide clear criminal record check
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and as a team member
WHMIS Training an asset
Previous experience in a greenhouse or growing plants considered an asset
Understanding of computers, Microsoft Office and Email considered an asset
