We are looking for a Full-time Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter/Excavator Operator to join our team.
We are a busy and growing service company providing a wide range of plumbing services throughout the region. We work on both residential and commercial plumbing projects and take pride in providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
What we Offer:
- Full-time , steady employment
- Monday to Friday schedule
- On-call rotation approximately once every 4-5 weekends
- Double-time pay for weekend on-call work when required
- Double-time pay for emergency after-hours work when required
- Company Van will be provided for work as well as travel to and from home
- Travel time to and from job sites is paid
- Unused sick days payment as discretionary year end Bonus
- Work throughout Duncan, Ladysmith, Lake Cowichan, Shawnigan Lake, Victoria, and surrounding areas, including some of the smaller islands.
- A Professional and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Plumber certificate
- Gas Fitter certification is an asset
- Excavator operating experience is an asset
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable cell phone
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to bill clients and collect payment upon completion of jobs
- Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
