Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening and Weekend Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. This role offers scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend appointments, providing clients with exceptional massage therapy services in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from discomfort.
Duties
- Deliver professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a comfortable and trusting environment for clients
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic operations
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards of treatment rooms and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in accordance with local regulatory bodies
- Experience or familiarity with medical terminology is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans and address client concerns professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs
- A compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is advantageous but not required
