Stony Plain Registries is a busy, small town Registry office where our staff and customers are like family. We are looking for a dedicated individual committed to exceptional customer service to become an integral member of our team.

Position:

Full Time and/or Part Time Registry Clerk

Includes Saturdays

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years registry services experience preferred
  • Must have minimum Basic Certification, Corporate Registry Certification (Level 1) & AB Health Insurance Certification
  • Experience with government registry systems including MOVES, SPIN2, CORES, APPRES, VISTAS
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Must be friendly, articulate, patient and polite
  • Must be energetic & outgoing with great communication skills
  • Provide exceptional customer service, solve problems and handle difficult situations
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with computers
  • 18 years or older
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Post-secondary courses in business, computers and working in the public an asset

Duties:

  • Motor vehicle front counter services including renewing Registrations & Driver Licenses, printing Drivers Abstracts, performing eye tests, processing Driver License applications
  • Vital Stats services including Marriage License applications, Birth Certificates, Legal Name changes, etc.
  • Processing Lien Searches and Land Title Searches
  • Corporate Registry Searches
  • Process & reconcile payments on a daily basis
  • Answering phones & book road tests

Experience:

  • registry services: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence:

  • Basic Registry, CORES Level 1, AB Health Insurance (Preferred)
