To support this continued growth, we are looking to add an experienced 310T Truck & Coach Technician to our afternoon shift. This is a new position created as part of our expansion—not a replacement role.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining RTI Equipment Solutions Inc.'s growing fleet of commercial trucks, trailers and support vehicles.
This position requires a licensed technician with a strong understanding of Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and experience performing commercial vehicle inspections and certifications using the DriveON digital inspection platform.
Your work will play a critical role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, compliant and ready to support our customers across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain RTI Equipment Solutions Inc.'s fleet of commercial trucks, trailers and support vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize fleet reliability and uptime.
- Complete Annual and Semi-Annual MTO inspections.
- Perform Safety Standards Certificates in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Transportation requirements.
- Complete inspections and certifications using the Ontario DriveON digital inspection platform.
- Accurately complete electronic repair orders, inspection reports and certification documentation.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Work closely with our Service, Rental and Operations teams to ensure maximum fleet availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training as new technologies and regulations evolve.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Ministry of Transportation commercial vehicle inspection standards.
- Experience completing Annual Inspections, Semi-Annual Inspections and Safety Standards Certificates.
- Experience with the Ontario DriveON inspection and certification system is considered a significant asset.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets and electronic work order systems.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (DZ or AZ Licence is considered an asset).
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
