We are currently seeking Appliance Technicians to join our team in Calgary OR Red Deer!
Appliance Technician:
The Appliance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing appliances, and assisting the Service Manager with scheduling repairs. We are looking for a hard-working individual who is willing to learn, work as part of a team, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
This posting is for a sub-contract or employee position with South Calgary Appliance. We are looking for a Journeyman Appliance Service Technician or apprentice who would like to control their work environment. Contractors will require your own vehicle, commercial liability, your own cell phone and tools.
Employee position will have a cell phone and company vehicle provided.
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair major appliances, including gas and refrigeration.
- Assist the Service Manager with scheduling repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires the ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. We are looking for someone who is able to maintain good attendance, lift up to 50 pounds, and use common sense when troubleshooting problems with our customers' appliances. We also require that you have the ability to work with a variety of tools in a fast-paced environment. Contractor Qualifications:
- Must have a Journeyman Appliance Service Technician certificate.

Apprentice Qualifications:
- Enrolled in Appliance Technician program

Pay: $30.00-$100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
