Pelican Intl est à la recherche d’un Analyste financier, prix de transfert et conformité commercial. Dans le cadre du poste, l’Analyste financier naviguera entre la gestion et l’optimisation des activités fiscales et douanières. Il veillera à la conformité des procédés financiers et qu’à l’élaboration de processus financiers. Ces mandats seront sous la supervision de la Directrice, comptabilité opérationnelle et planificatrice financière.
UNE JOURNÉE TYPE DANS CE POSTE :
- Participer à la création d’une stratégie de transfert pricing et à l’élaboration de la politique;
- Travailler en collaboration avec nos consultants pour les réclamations de remboursement des droits;
- Procéder à la gestion des activités douanières (validation des factures, demande de remboursement, mise en place du programme de réconciliation, etc);
- Mettre en place un processus de refacturation corporative et être responsable de son application;
- Coordonner et effectuer les remises de taxes de vente pour toutes les divisions et le site Web;
- Faire la classification des nouveaux produits lors de la création d’articles;
- Travailler en collaboration avec les courtiers financiers pour diverses demandes;
- Procéder au renouvellement annuel du Certificat d’origine Pelican INTL.
CE QU’ON ATTEND DE TOI :
- Tu détiens un baccalauréat en administration des affaires (B.A.A.) en comptabilité ou dans un domaine équivalent;
- Tu détiens le titre de CPA (un avantage);
- Tu détiens une expérience reconnue dans un environnement manufacturier et/ou en comptabilité de coûts;
- Maîtrise de la suite MS Office;
- Bilingue (français et anglais) à l’oral et à l’écrit.
Vous possédez de bonnes habiletés de résolution de problèmes, ainsi qu’un bon sens de l’organisation, de la planification et de la coordination dans un contexte multitâche. Vous détenez d’excellentes habiletés à gérer les priorités et à travailler sous pression. Vous avez de bonnes compétences organisationnelles, êtes proactif, autonome, analytique et soucieux du détail.

Pelican Intl is seeking a Financial Analyst, Transfer Pricing and Trade Compliance. In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing tax and customs activities. The incumbent will ensure compliance with financial processes while contributing to the development and implementation of financial procedures. These responsibilities will be carried out under the supervision of the Director, Operational Accounting and Financial Planning.
A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE:
- Participate in the development of a transfer pricing strategy and related policy;
- Collaborate with our consultant on duty drawback and customs duty refund claims;
- Manage customs-related activities, including invoice validation, refund claims, and the implementation of reconciliation programs;
- Develop and implement a corporate intercompany invoicing process and ensure its ongoing application;
- Coordinate and prepare sales tax filings for all divisions and the e-commerce website;
- Classify new products during item creation to ensure proper customs and trade compliance;
- Work closely with customs brokers and external partners on various trade compliance matters;
- Manage the annual renewal of Pelican INTL's Certificate of Origin.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Accounting or a related field;
- CPA designation is considered an asset;
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and/or cost accounting;
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
You possess strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational, planning, and coordination abilities in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. You demonstrate outstanding priority management skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. You are organized, proactive, self-motivated, analytical, and detail oriented.
