At $10 Clothing we are a small but fun team. We are looking for an energetic person who can work independently. $10 Clothing is a locally owned and operated business in Calgary. We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team and help us grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting customers with their clothing selections, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking new merchandise and contributing to achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner; be knowledgeable to answer questions regarding merchandise items, prices and brands and provide information on promotions, policies and procedure.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Proactively engage with customers to upsell and cross-sell products based on their preferences and needs
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management when restocking is required.
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately, including processing payments
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the store and display area
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise throughout the shift.
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or other related fields is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
