We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various life challenges. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in advocating for clients' needs and ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide counseling and support to individuals and families dealing with emotional, social, or financial difficulties.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate services.
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Facilitate support groups or workshops to educate clients on coping strategies and available resources.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Supervise interns or junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in supervising staff or interns is a plus.
- Knowledge of community resources and social services available for clients.
- Knowledge of MVA related cases.
