Amigo’s Cashier and Sale Associate Job Description
Responsibilities for the Cashier and Sale Associate include the following but not limited to·
Accounting duties of printing off the x and z readings, counting tills and recording cash deposits, credit/debit slips and overages and shortages.
Stocking store shelves, pricing items in the Furniture Barn and items in the store. Keeping the store fully stocked at all times as well as clean, orderly and organized and items are clean and displayed in a presentable manner.
Wholesaling the clothes as to the color code system set up,
Working with the Facility Workers to ensure the Furniture Barn is organized
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- bag items for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties
- Attention to detail to accurately handle cash transactions
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
This position is for between 4 to 5 shifts per week. Must be willing to work every other weekend.*
Note: Previous cashier or sales experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
