Our team of chiropractors work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Associate Physical therapist to join our team part time and contribute ti our patient-centred approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for managing conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
- A valid Physical Therapy license in Manitoba.
- Insurance
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatrics and acute care settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
