Store Goals and More About Us
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is a registered charity. Chez Vincent’s objective is to operate like a business and produce profits to feed the poor in the Okanagan Valley and support other charitable endeavours as they arise.
A successful Store Manager will understand that the poor are the of the profits generated by the store; they are not the store’s target customers who will be shopping in the store. The store’s customers are two-fold: first are the valued doners of goods for resale and second are those with the financial ability to purchase those goods.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization that lives out the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor, with love, respect, justice, and joy.
Why Join Us?
· Be part of an organization that makes a tangible difference in the lives of others.
· Lead a team that values compassion, respect, and dignity.
· Help shape the future of a vital community support system .

· Competitive annual salary range of $55K - $65K. This is a management position and therefore hours of work are determined by the need to complete tasks necessary to attain business goals as set by the SSVP Management Committee.
