Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, to efficiently move products within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that inventory is handled safely and accurately. This position is an evening shift SUN-THURS 5PM-2AM
Responsibilities
- Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying product counts against shipping documents.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts, in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while working in a fast-paced environment.
